Top Ten books on Seduction, Understanding women and the Art of the Pick-up

Every man who aspires to be a world class pick-up artist (PUA) needs to have a thorough library of books on seduction, persuasion and human behavior.  Here are my suggested texts:

1.  The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene.  If you want to know the in's and out's of sexual politics, social power and influence this is the book for you. From the point of view of the PUA this involves more theory than application, which makes it a good reference book.  Can you pull routines and approaches out of this book?  Definitely, but the real value lies in helping you understand what makes someone tick on the inside. Defines the nine basic types of seducers and illustrates how they operate and what drives them.  Lot's of examples to drive the point home.  No matter how skilled you are in the practice of influence and seduction this is a great read.

2. The 48 Laws of Power, also by Robert Greene.  While not strictly a book on seduction and persuasion this work is a treatise on how to wield social power.  Should be read, studied and applied by everyone, although only those who seek to master the art of influence, persuasion and seduction will take the time to do so.  Studying this book will help you to project more power in your life, and let's face it, power IS the ultimate aphrodisiac.

3. The Mystery Method: How to Get Beautiful Women Into Bed by Mystery. This is a good primer for those just starting out studying seduction. Mystery's emotional progression model is a good approach to meeting, attracting and seducing women.  Mystery observation of social dynamics is impressive - He obviously knows what he is talking about and he lays it all out here.  Armed with this information you will meet more women.

4. The Layguide: How to Seduce Women More Beautiful Than You Ever Dreamed Possible No Matter What You Look Like or How Much You Make by Tony Clink.  This book tells you how to get laid...period. It is not about getting a relationship or making a new friend, it has the techniques you need to use when getting laid and having sex is your sole goal.  Details the psychological tricks and triggers you can use to generate attraction and interest.  This is a good read.

5. Stumbling Naked in the Dark: Overcoming Mistakes Men Make with Women by Bradley Fenton.  The book you use to clear up many misconceptions you might have about women. Useful to model how to meet women and establish a healthy relationship with them.  Written about women from a man's point of view, this needs to be in every mans library.

6. How to Become an Alpha Male by John Alexander.  We are all told that women are attracted to the Alpha male and that we should take steps to become one.  It is all about "Inner Game" really, getting to that point where who you are is attractive to women.  Being a natural is obviously the easiest and best way to meet lots of women.  Here is the book that tells you how.

7. Irresistible Attraction: Secrets of Personal Magnetism by Kevin Hogan.  The hidden secrets of attraction and charisma.  Well research and well written, this book shows you how to manage the impression you make on others.  You will use this information in all areas of your life, not just the seduction field. Useful information for those seeking to become a Master.

8. The Professional Bachelor Dating Guide - How to Exploit Her Inner Psycho by Brett Tate.  Covers everything a bachelor needs to know, from understanding women to how to protect yourself should you decide to get married.  Shows you how to construct the proper attitude, charisma and lifestyle to enjoy being a bachelor.  Highly recommended.

9. The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists by Neil Stauss.  You have to read this book if you are interested in learning about picking up women.  Describes Neil Strauss' journey from your average frustrated chump (AFC) to a renown and skilled Pick-up Artist (PUA).  Illustrates how one of the best results of becoming a PUA is self-growth and self-confidence.  A MUST READ.

10. Ross Jeffries Unstoppable Confidence Course by Ross Jeffries.  Okay, this isn't a book, but it's included here because self-confidence is the key to being successful at persuasion and seduction.  It does you no good to know everything there is to know about persuasion if you don't have the confidence to do what you know.  Get this course and succeed.

Well there you have it.  Anybody who absorbed the knowledge contained in the books above would be a master of seduction, a master of persuasion or both.
