You are not alone.  For years I would go to bars or be out on the town and I would see a woman I wanted to meet.  The problem was I didn't know how to introduce myself in a way that didn't seem weird to me.

How would I go up to her and what would I say? Most of the time I simply let the moment pass.  I hated it. I hated not being able to meet any woman I wanted to meet.  So I made a decision to change all that.

I decided that I would learn how to meet, attract and seduce a wide variety of different women.  It took years of study and practice to get really good, but it was a fun few years.  I am not going to kid you, I was successful with women fom the very beginning. I could always get laid.  But what I got better at was meeting and attracting more beautiful women.

And ladies, beauty can lie heavily on the inside.  Some of the most outwardly beautiful women were some of the ugliest and most pain-in-the-ass women you could hope to meet.  Part of becoming a successful pickup artist is knowing what you are looking for and what to avoid, cause believe me, there are plenty of psychos out there just waiting to spend your money, steal your fun and make you miserable.

I was driving through Los Angeles one day and spied the bumper sticker illustrated below.  I tell you, truer words wer never spoken. (oh, click on the picture below and it will take you to Ashley Madison, a website for people in a realtionship who, for whatever reason (probably financial), want to stay in it but want to have some fun on the side.  I don't endorse the practice, but it is a resource.

When it comes to relationships things have changed radically over the past few decades.  The sexual revolution, which started in the 1960's combined with the more recent invention of the internet and the cell phone has changed the dynamics of relationships today.  I know this becuase I have lived through, and dated through, this period.  Peoples expectations have changed.

What worked for our parents and grandparents is no longer suitable to the dating world today.  Our expectations for relationships hasn't changed however.  Deep down inside us we expect to find that one certain someone who can make us whole.  Once we find them we expect to get married, have children and live happily ever after.

Modern day reality is different.  If you are the man there is really no benefit to be derived from being married...none...nada...nothing! The only thing that changes is that you are going to get less sex and you will be legally obligated to support that woman for the rest of your life.But we are still conditioned to believing that marraige is the goal we should be seeking.

I am not going to try to dissuade you from the idea of getting married.  You can make that choice yourself.  I am going to try to convince you to get out the and to date hard before you are married or in a committed relationship.  The believe the key tenets of dating are as follows:

1. You need to know what you want from a relationship and from each of the women in your life.
2. You need the knowledge and skills to get what you want.
3. You should never compromise in your standards or your values.
4. Set boundaries early on in your relationship and keep those boundaries
5. The key to success with women is action.  You need to get out there and do something.

I am big on the idea of designing the type of relationship and lifestyle you want and then going out there and getting it.  So let me ask you, are you in a relationship "by design"?  Or are you one of those guys stuck in a relationship you just happened to fall into?
